How Does Bioclear Work?

Functionally, Bioclear treatment falls somewhere between a filling and a veneer. It is like a filling in that it treats certain areas of a tooth with composite; it resembles a veneer in that it covers up an unsightly issue on the tooth. However, the treatment is much less involved than veneers, which require the tooth to be treated and covered in a porcelain shell. Bioclear entails the application of a composite to one or more affected teeth. This composite will be designed to match the color of the natural tooth to effectively restore its appearance. Dr. Tucker will use a Bioclear HeatSync and Blaster, as well as a traditional composite gun which is universally used when applying white fillings.

Am I a Candidate for Bioclear Treatment?

If you have been left with unappealing black triangles as a result of orthodonture or periodontal surgery, Bioclear treatment is a great solution. It can also be effective in treating aesthetic issues like minor chips or cracks. Further, it can help with minor alterations in the shape or appearance of a tooth. If you have minor issues with the way your teeth look, you may be a good candidate for Bioclear.
